We landed at Providenciales International Airport (PLS) around 3:45pm. The Avis rental requires a short shuttle, and the whole process was a little hectic with the tourist crowds — but the real heads-up is the money: Avis put a $700 hold on top of the rental cost.
First thing: the beach. Five minutes on foot from the villa, and oh my — the water, the sky, the entire experience was perfect.
The big day. We spent it at the beach — family, friends, everybody in the water.
One thing about my people: we love a boat. We rented a private afternoon catamaran — the Big Ben (44) — through Viator at $140 per person.
Time flies. We left around 11am.
